Collège La Mare aux Saules

On April 1^st, 2011 at 10 p.m., Lyra – a teenager – was killed. She had been stabbed six times. Her corpse was found in a park. There were five suspects : Mary, John, Elena, Mark and Courtney.

Mary and John were Lyra’s siblings. Elena was Lyra’s neighbour. Mark was Lyra’s boyfriend and Courtney was her worst enemy.

Mary and John claimed they were watching TV with their parents. Elena declared she was having dinner in a restaurant with her husband. Mark told the detective he was playing videogames in his bedroom. Courtney explained she was going to her grandmother for dinner.

A witness told the police the culprit was Courtney. She saw Courtney in the park at 10 p.m. so Courtney was the murderer. She killed Lyra because she was jealous of her.

Juline (4B)

On a dark stormy night, on Monday, march 18^th in New York., Spiderman was killed. He was strangled and he was thrown in a car. Inspector Zidane and Detective Snoopy came a few hours later.

On Tuesday, Inspector Zidane found five suspects : Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Magneto and Thor.

“What were you doing when Spiderman was killed ?” asked Detective Snoopy.

“ I was building a new car for my collection” said Iron Man.

“ I was training in the warning room with the X-Men” claimed Wolverine.

“Hurrrrrrrrgh”, declared Hulk.

“I was fighting against the X-Men on the Empire State Building” declared Magneto.

“I was drinking beer and I was eating beef with Captain America.”said Thor.

On Wednesday, Inspector Zidane found a witness : the Invisible Man.

He told the Inspector he saw Wolverine with Colossus in the warning room at the time of the murder.

On Thursday, Detective Snoopy called all the suspects to the police station.

“We found the culprit” declared Zidane “The murderer is you… Magneto !”.

“What ?!”

“Yes, it’s you because you told us that you were fighting against the X-Men and a witness saw the X-Men in the warning room” claimed Snoopy.

“Why did you kill Spiderman” asked Iron Man.

“I hate spiders. I am scared of them. I will kill all spiders… ha ha ha ha !”

“Snoopy ! Handcuffs, please !” said Zidane.

Matisse (4D)

On Sunday, July 1^st, it was sunny and hot when Miss Rose found Mr. Violet dead in the kitchen of the house on the beach. Inspector Romana arrived on the crime scene. Mister Violet had been stabbed in the kitchen.

There were five suspects. Miss Rose was Mr. Violet’s girlfriend. Mr. Moutarde was Mr. Violet’s friend. Miss Pervenche was Mr. Violet’s maid. Mr. Olive was Mr. Violet’s brother. Miss Leblanc was Mr. Violet’s sister.

The five suspects were sitting on the sofa in the living-room. Inspector Romana questioned the five suspects.  Miss Rose said : “I was watching 100% Mag on TV”. Mr. Moutarde explained :  “I was swimming in the pool”. Miss Pervenche told the detective “I was making the beds of the house”. Mr. Olive declared : “I was reading a book on the beach”. Miss Leblanc said : “I was drinking coffee in the living-room”.

But a witness told Inspector Romana he saw a man on the beach reading a book so the Inspector said Mr. Olive wasn’t the culprit.

However, Inspector Romana isn’t stupid. He explained “On Sunday, 100% Mag isn’t on TV so Miss Rose is the culprit.”

The Inspector asked “ Why did you kill Mr. Violet ?” Miss Rose told the detective “ I knew Mr. Violet had an affair with Miss Pervenche so I killed Mr. Violet because I was jealous.”

Miléna (4D)

It was sunny in London when Pauline was killed on March 31^st at 6 p.m in the English classroom. She was strangled. There were five suspects : Manon, Juline, Jahsiaï, Priska and Mrs. Lacroix.

Manon was Pauline’s best friend. Juline was Pauline’s sister. Jahsiaï and Priska were Pauline’s friend. Mrs. Lacroix was Pauline’s English teacher.

Manon said she was home with Juline at 6 p.m.. Juline claimed she was with Manon at her house.  Jahsiaï told the police she was shopping with her mother. Mrs. Lacroix said she was driving at 6 p.m. Priska explained she was at the hospital.

A witness declared Mrs. Lacroix wasn’t driving at 6 p.m. because she was at school to talk to Pauline about her work in class. She lied. She killed Pauline because she thought Pauline had spread her secret : she had threatened to kill the headmaster.

On Monday, April 25^th, Eric was killed on a beach : he was shot. It was sunny. There were five suspects : Eric Junior was Eric’s brother. Thomas was Eric’s best friend. Sandy was Eric’s girlfriend. Tommy was Eric’s father. Lily was Eric’s grandmother.

“It’s not possible ! He’s my brother ! I didn’t kill Eric ! I was taking a shower.” Eric Junior said. “I was watching Inspector Barnaby on T.V.” Thomas told the police. “I was going to Dysneyland with my friends.” Sandy claimed. “I was going to Paris to do some shopping” Tommy declared. “I was sleeping because I I had been running.” Lily explained.

A witness told the police : “This is impossible ! Tommy wasn’t shopping because it was Easter and the shops were closed ! I saw Tommy on the beach so he is the murderer.”

“I killed Eric because his mother was dead and I’m sure he is responsible !” Tommy explained.

Emma (4D)

Last Monday evening at 12 p.m., Mathilde was killed in the park. She was strangled. There were five suspects : Pauline, Alice, Bertille, Manon and Mahira.

Pauline was Mathilde’s friend. Alice was Mathilde’s best friend. Bertille was Mathilde’s older sister. Manon was Mathilde’s worst enemy. Mahira was Mathilde’s best friend.

Pauline said she was playing a game. Alice declared she was doing her homework. Bertille declared she was eating chips. Manon said she was looking at her phone. Mahira claimed she was chatting with Bertille.

A witness told the police that Alice wasn’t doing her homework because she was in the park. She lied so she was the murderer.She killed Mathilde because she had an affair with her boyfriend.
